Job Description

Instructor to begin duties immediately. The theatre instructor’s primary responsibilities will be teaching theatre and film classes at the secondary level (grades 9 through 12) and assisting with all aspects of drama productions. RESPONSIBILITIES: The instructor will be responsible for teaching two sections of the foundations curriculum of drama and two elective drama offerings a term. Administrative responsibilities will include assisting with directing two or more major productions and overseeing student projects. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Masters Degree (or higher) preferred. Experience: Position requires experience in acting, directing, film production, and screen- and playwriting. The position also requires the use of on-line resources and other technology to enhance learning, as well as a knowledge and lively interest in pedagogy and the performing arts.
