The Los Angeles Community District is seeking a Vice President of Academic Affairs to serve at Los Angeles Southwest College. Interested individuals who possess the required training and experience are invited to submit applications. The Vice President of Academic Affairs serves as an assistant to the College President and as a line officer in planning, organizing, and administering and supervising the instructional programs of the college.
Applicants must meet State minimum requirements as an administrator either by: a California credential authorizing administrative service at the community college level OR a master’s degree from an accredited institution; and completion of one year of full-time formal training, internship or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrative assignment.
The salary range is $136,613 to $160,407 annually. New employees to the District will be allocated within the salary range according to previous salary. Employee benefits include 15.5 paid holidays annually, 24 days paid vacation annually, medical/hospital, dental and vision care plans and a $50,000 group life insurance policy.
