The University of New Mexico (UNM) is seeking an innovative and experienced leader for the position of Executive Director of the UNM Gallup Campus (http://www.gallup.unm.edu/). UNM-Gallup is one of four branch community colleges of the University and serves approximately 3,000 students. Located near the Navajo, Zuni and Hopi Reservations, this campus has the largest Native American student body of any public university campus in the world and is designated as a Department of Education Minority-Serving Institution. UNM-Gallup is fully accredited by the North Central Association, offering Associate degrees and vocational certificate programs, adult basic education (ABE and GED), workforce training, and personal enrichment courses. There are approximately 90 part-time and 70 full-time faculty members. UNM-Gallup also collaborates with UNM’s Extended University in hosting four-year and graduate degree programs both on-site and through electronic delivery.
The Executive Director provides academic and administrative leadership to the Gallup Campus and reports through the VP of Rio Rancho Operations and Branch Academic Affairs. As the primary academic and administrative officer, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall operations of the Gallup campus, including academic curriculum development and instruction, facilities, human resources, administration, fundraising, and financial management. The Executive Director serves as liaison with outside agencies, community organizations and the Gallup Campus Advisory Board, and engages with senior UNM officials and leaders of UNM’s other campuses, colleges, and schools. This position can be filled at either the faculty or staff level.
· An earned doctoral degree.
· At least five years of senior level administrative experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
· Experience in providing academic or educational support services directly to students through teaching, student support, or other areas of professional service.

Salary Range: $91,000 to $170,000
