User Support Specialist/Project Coordinator
(Grant-funded for 18 months)

The Voluntary Framework of Accountability (VFA) is the first comprehensive national accountability system created for community colleges.  Community college leaders - facilitated by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) - conceived, developed, and pilot-tested the VFA metrics.  The VFA has measures of student progress and outcomes, career and technical education outcomes; and an approach for assessing student learning outcomes.

AACC seeks a Specialist/Coordinator to develop a deep understanding of the VFA and its metrics and act as the first point of contact for VFA participants and users of the web-based tools and resources.  The incumbent will provide user-support on: the understanding and calculating of metrics; inputting and submitting data; and responding to inquiries about the database, data tool, and web resources.  Individual will also create user feedback activities and assist with developing and implementing a training curriculum.  Responsibilities also include processing and assisting with membership account management, assisting with website maintenance/enhancement, reviewing web analytics, overseeing user acceptance testing, and project management support.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 2-3 years of related work experience in providing user support services and training, coordinating projects, arranging virtual and in-person meetings, and using data, data tools, and web-based and technical platforms.  Familiarity with institutional research is preferred. Requires ability to understand data elements and how data is compiled/analyzed, as well as the ability to summarize information to respond to inquiries.  Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Power Point, and virtual meeting platforms.  A proven track record of strong communications skills, interpersonal skills, and multi-tasking skills are also required.
