The Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to an appointed five-member Board.
Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWIT), located in Kirkland, Washington (15 miles east of Seattle), enrolls more than 9,000 students annually in a variety of courses and programs from basic education and certificate programs to associate degrees. LWIT also offers the Bachelor of Technology in Applied Design. A broad-based polytechnic college, LWIT offers small class sizes with hands-on, workforce training using state-of-the-art labs and facilities. Training is available in 38 areas of study including information technology, business & service, health & fitness, manufacturing & transportation technologies, as well as academic courses in the arts, language and sciences. - A doctorate from an accredited institution preferred; a master's degree from an accredited institution required.
- Five years senior level administrative experience at a two-year or four-year college or equivalent.
