General Job Descriptions:
Employed to teach in discipline or discipline areas in which he/she has specific training and/or competence. As such, is expected to plan, organize, and teach in a manner to promote and direct successful student learning in keeping with the College's learning-centered values and goals.
A master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Mathematics or Statistics or a Master's degree + 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics or Statistics is required. Candidates must have teaching experience appropriate at the community college level.
PLEASE NOTE: In some cases, related work experiences in the field, professional Licensure and certifications, honors and awards, continuous documented excellence in teaching, or other demonstrated competencies and achievements that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes may be used to support an application in lieu of degree and course work requirements.
