PROVOST AND EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Genesee Community College, a nationally recognized institution nestled in the scenic hills of upstate New York between Buffalo and Rochester, with a longstanding history of going beyond expectations, has opened the search for a proven leader with a strong history of encouraging academic innovation to assume the responsibility of Provost and Chief Academic Officer. The Provost is a key member of the President’s executive team and is responsible for providing visionary leadership to the overall academic operations of the college inclusive of its six campus center locations.
The successful candidate must possess an advanced degree with preference given to candidates with a doctoral degree. A minimum of five years of successful teaching and administrative experience preferably at a community college is required. A demonstrated ability to balance action-oriented leadership with collegial decision-making is essential.
