Job Description | Work full-time year-round at a leading community college in Southwest Kansas, overseeing all instructional areas, including Workforce Development, Continuing Education, General Education and Distance Learning; supervising all curriculum and instruction, including outreach, evening and summer courses, distance learning, scheduling and overloads; overseeing faculty and academic staff recruitment and development; providing advisory recommendations to president on academic appointments, tenure and promotion; coordinating academic program reviews, assessment and accreditation; supervising instructional divisions; working closely with faculty and serving in GCCC President’s Cabinet.
Requires master’s degree in appropriate teaching discipline from accredited institution, five years of higher education work experience involving personnel supervision, demonstrated success in administrative leadership, comprehensive knowledge and experience in distance learning strategies, effective communication skills in speaking and writing; related requirements.
