The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a creative and experienced full-time biological science faculty member who is committed to community college teaching and student success.
Qualifications: Master's degree in life sciences or master's degree with 18 graduate hours in life science is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching in a community college preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include in class and/or online instruction in human anatomy and physiology courses and labs, general biology and lab, general zoology and lab, and other life science courses as assigned; assist in maintenance of equipment and lab facilities; serve as an academic advisor as needed; work closely with other life science faculty, tutoring staff, and other college personnel to promote student success; serve on department and university committees; and participate in professional development. Night and weekend duties may be required.
