Elizabethtown Community & Technical College
We are currently inviting applications for the following full-time 10 month (August-May) positions that will begin August 1, 2012. The position listed below will teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester, and be responsible for academic advising, professional growth, institutional service, and participation in continuing education/community service. Assignment will include teaching off-campus courses and may include some evening, weekend, and/or on-campus courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, working with a diverse population, and the community and technical college mission.
- Math Instructor- Minimum qualification is a Master’s degree in Math or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics. Teaching at the off-campus sites is an expectation for this position.
- History Instructor - Minimum qualification is a Master’s degree in History or a Master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate level hours in History. Special consideration will be given to individuals qualified to teach in more than one area. The primary assignment for this position will be at some of our off-campus locations (Fort Knox, Springfield, and Leitchfield).
