Under the direction of the Vice President for Instruction, the Dean of Health Sciences and Human Services is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of the division. Will direct and evaluate the instructional programs and departments assigned to the division, which include the following: emergency medical technology, nursing, health sciences, human services, medical assistant, nursing, paramedic, and sign language.
Requires a Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines: nursing, nursing education or administration. Must have at least two years experience, within the last of 5 years, of administrative or management experience in academic divisions, sections or schools within a community college and/or four- year college or university, with emphasis on nursing, health sciences or human services. At least three years successful classroom teaching experience in a health science or human services program in higher education. At least one year experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
Compensation: Salary range of $133,866 to $162,868 per year, a comprehensive package of insurance benefits and 24 days of vacation leave per year.
