DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Reporting to the Office of the President, the Executive Director for Institutional Advancement is responsible for the efficient and effective planning and management of an advancement office to include the Administration of Grants and the College’s Foundation fund raising efforts and Capital Campaign. The Executive Director will establish and maintain a close working relationship with business and industry to assess their needs and establish partnerships with other entities in support of the College.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree and four years experience in an area such as alumni/development activities. Master’s Degree preferred. Three to five years related work experience in a leadership role within the development or advancement profession preferred. Successful fundraiser in non-profit sector and grant writing skills are considered. This position requires skills and ability to implement and manage a multimillion dollar capital campaign and knowledge of sophisticated fundraising techniques and the ability to represent the College in a highly visible, responsible position.
