Bridges to Healthy Communities 2005

Summary: The Bridges project featured service learning as a core strategy to prevent HIV infection and other important health problems among youth.
Disability Support Services

Summary: In a stiff national competition, four community colleges and four mentors were selected in November 1995 to participate in a Department of Education-funded project, "Improving Disability Support Services (DSS) in Community Colleges." AACC implemented the pilot project.
New Expeditions

Summary: New Expeditions set a vision and strategic direction for the nation's community colleges in its report, "The Knowledge Net: Connecting Communities, Learners, and Colleges." The project was co-sponsored by AACC and the Association of Community College Trustees, with funding from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation.
Working Connections IT Faculty Development Institute

Summary: Microsoft Corporation, AACC and Bellevue Community College's National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies (NWCET) have formed an alliance to develop a systematic, nationwide plan for community and technical college faculty development in the field of information technology (IT).
