Diversity, inclusion, and equity are key components of AACCs Strategic Action Area #1, Recognition and Advocacy for Community Colleges, and Strategic Action Area #2, Student Access, Learning and Success. AACC promotes increased access and success for the diverse community college population by securing increased federal and private support, and provides opportunities, resources, and information to colleges to improve student success, including persistence, retention, program completion, and transfer. Board-endorsed position statements address issues of access, diversity, and equity. Recognizing the importance of effective and inclusive programs, AACC collects and disseminates information that advances opportunity and excellence at community colleges. AccessInclusionresources
