 AACC/SBC Excelerator Project
With support from the SBC Foundation, AACC, in partnership with six community colleges around the country, designed and implemented information technology (IT) training programs to create a more skilled workforce. The six colleges located in California, Connecticut, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio and Texas have proven technology training programs that are being expanded to help more disenfranchised people gain skills needed for IT jobs in their own community. Faculty from six other community colleges served as mentors and shared best practices with instructors and staff in the AACC/SBC Excelerator project.
