The Association constantly monitors federal legislation and works with key committees of Congress and individual members of the House and Senate to promote community college interests. Links to Departments and Agencies — AACC’s close links to federal departments and agencies give member colleges increased access to programs, information and funding. Association staff meets regularly with the Departments of Education, Labor, and others, as well as with key agencies. Through its Community College Times newspaper, Community College Journal magazine, executive letter and other publications, AACC provides timely and insightful information to inform and promote its members.
