David R. Pierce Faculty Technology Award 2005 Sponsored by AACC and Cisco Systems, Inc.Cisco is partnering with AACC to recognize faculty excellence in the use of IT for instruction. The David R. Pierce Faculty Technology Award will be given to two outstanding community college faculty who promote the use of information technology in education. - Demonstrate consistent and exemplary use of technology in instruction
- Be either a part-time or full-time faculty member in good standing.
The Award: - Faculty selected receive a non-restricted, $5,000 honorarium.
- The two winners will be recognized at the AACC Annual Convention in April and will be featured in AACC publications.
Nomination Process: Each AACC member institution may nominate one faculty member. The nomination should include: Nominations MUST be submitted electronically to pierceaward@aacc.nche.edu.
