- West Virginia University at Parkersburg is the only state community college in West Virginia accredited to offer bachelor's degrees. It is one of only 34 public institutions in the country classified as a baccalaureate/associate college.
- With more than 40 programs of study, WVU Parkersburg offers a wide variety of programs from certificates to bachelor’s degrees. Such programs include welding, surgical technology, business administration, elementary education, criminal justice and 3-D modeling.
