Quote from the President

"Southeast Community College prides itself in preparing skilled workers for today’s workforce. Employers who hire SCC graduates know they are getting an employee who is highly skilled, dedicated, and who possesses an exemplary work ethic. That’s high value for the money students invest in an education from SCC."

Interesting Facts

  • SCC has a contract with John Deere’s Agriculture and Power Systems divisions to provide all of its technician training throughout the United States and Canada.
  • SCC has one of only a handful of nondestructive testing (NDT) programs in the nation. NDT is the examination of an object or part without destroying its usefulness.
  • SCC also has a unique energy generation operations program that trains students to become plant operators in biofuels, fossil fuels, nuclear and wind technology. It is one of the few programs in the nation that teaches these four focus areas.
