Interesting Facts

  • Louisiana Delta Community College houses the largest manufacturing training facility in the state. Local industry invests in this facility to ensure training equipment is kept current.
  • Louisiana Delta is the only academic institution in the U.S. to be the benefactors of a half-million-dollar facility built in a housing complex to deliver family literacy services to its residents and the community. This program, which is inclusive of adult education, is effective because it also touches children by providing development education classes.
  • The college has the largest number of campuses in the state, and the largest geographical territory in the state, covering more than 2,100 square miles.
