Interesting Facts
- For 25 years, Irvine Valley College has partnered with the Irvine and Tustin School districts to sponsor the Astounding Inventions Competition. This annual competition was established to promote student interest and learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. Hundreds of students participate in this annual event.
- The Biennial Outdoor Sculpture Invitational (BOSI) Project brings new sculptural works by professional and emerging artists onto the campus promoting art, enhancing the educational experience for students and enriching the working environment for administration, faculty and staff.
- The Irvine Valley Veterans Club offers a friendly environment and provides support and resources for returning military men and women and their family members attending IVC to meet their goals of obtaining a higher education. Current club members have served on active duty or are currently serving in a guard or reserve unit while attending IVC. Membership is not limited to veterans. All interested students are invited to participate.
