"Hudson Valley Community College, part of the State University of New York, annually serves nearly 13,000 students who use our academic programs to launch their careers or continue their higher education. Hudson Valley works collaboratively with the state’s business community and its own academic advisory boards to create curricula that help propel New York State’s economic development. We also have transfer and articulation agreements with more than 50 colleges and universities, helping students get an affordable, accessible start to their higher education."
- Hudson Valley’s Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School serves more than 100 students from across 20 school districts and seven counties. The program allows students to earn high school credit while preparing them for careers in the clean technology, engineering, and sustainable industries fields.
- The college’s cultural affairs program serves the community with an annual slate of lectures, performances, and events. This past year, the college hosted talks by former United States Poet Laureate Billy Collins and Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim.
- The campus includes the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, home of the Houston Astros affiliate Tri-City ValleyCats, as well as the college’s NJCAA intercollegiate baseball team.
- Hudson Valley’s HonorScholar program attracts some of the top high school graduates from New York’s Capital Region. Full-tuition scholarships are available to qualified students interested in entering the program.
