We are changing lives through education by offering more than 150 degrees and certificates, and by partnering with area schools, industry and four-year universities to give Grossmont College students the best opportunity to develop and pursue their hopes and dreams, and to fulfill their potential.”
Grossmont College is the largest community college in San Diego’s East County region with approximately 20,000 students. It serves as the primary transfer feeder to the county’s largest state university.
Grossmont College offers more than 150 associate degree and certificate programs with such notable programs as administration of justice, healthcare professions (nursing, cardiovascular technology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy assistant, orthopedic technology, EKG tech) and culinary arts.
Grossmont College serves as a hub for cultural and arts activities in the community with a symphony orchestra, master chorale and performing arts, including theatre and dance. The guitar program is the largest among California community colleges with more than 225 students enrolled in classes.
