“Coastal Bend College (CBC) is a two-year public community college serving nine counties (9,483 square miles) in south Texas, with a main campus in Beeville and three full-service instructional sites in Pleasanton, Kingsville, and Alice. The college works closely with local workforce to ensure that the workforce needs of our entire district are met. In addition to degree programs offered by the college, our customized training arm identifies much-needed short-term training and grant opportunities throughout the district. “
- CBC is one of two public institutions in Texas to offer glassblowing as an academic course. The works of students, faculty, and guest artists from around the world are displayed in the Simon Michael Art Gallery on the college’s campus in Beeville.
