Quote from the President
“Coastal Bend College is a two-year public community college serving nine counties (9,483 square miles) in south Texas, with a main campus in Beeville and three full-service instructional sites in Pleasanton, Kingsville, and Alice. The district serves approximately 4,500 credit students each fall and spring semester with academic transfer and workforce programs, continuing education, customized training and adult basic education. The college works closely with local workforce investment boards in Beeville, Alice, Kingsville, and Pleasanton to ensure that the workforce needs of our entire district are met. In addition to degree programs offered by the college, our customized training arm identifies much-needed short-term training and grant opportunities throughout the district. “
