  • College of Central Florida is ranked among the top 150 colleges in the United States by the Aspen Institute for Community College Excellence.
  • The college partners with the local workforce board to provide the Talent Center at the College of Central Florida, helping individuals transition from classroom to career. The Guaranteed Graduate Program assures the quality of CF graduates by providing additional, no-cost training for CF students if they are found to be deficient in any area related to their academic program.
  • Among CF’s award-winning programs is Dental Assisting, which provides dental care for indigent community members through a partnership with the Marion County Health Department. The program has received a Model Practice Award from the National Association of County and City Health Officials, Florida College System Chancellor’s Best Practice Award for Innovation and Excellence, and the Volunteer Florida Champion of Service Award.
  • CF takes great pride in its Appleton Museum of Art, which offers temporary exhibitions and a permanent collection of European, American and Contemporary art, plus Asian, African, Islamic and pre-Columbian artifacts and antiquities.
