Summary

Columbus State Community College has established industry partners within the Logistics warehouse and distribution industry. Industry leaders indicated a need for 17,000 new and replacement workers in Central Ohio, as well as worker trained with 21st century skill sets. The program, which had a goal of training 1,082 new warehouse/distribution employees and 400 incumbent workers, includes computer training, customer service training, and technical training. To date, 506 people have graduated, many of whom have been hired.
