POSITION -- Since, 2001, President of Illinois Central College, a community college with three campuses and one additional site within a 10-county district in Central Illinois.
PREVIOUS -- Served in various administrative positions at four community colleges in Illinois, Iowa, and Ohio.
AFFILIATIONS -- Serves on boards: Focus Forward, CEO Roundtable, Methodist Medical Center, Wildlife Prairie Park, Dean's Community Associates Council for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, AACC Global Commission, NJCAA Executive Committee, and Illinois Council of Presidents.
EDUCATION -- Bachelor's Degree from the University of Indianapolis in English & Religion; Master's in U.S. History from Indiana University; Master's of Divinity from Methodist Theological School in Ohio; and Ph.D. in U.S. History and American Studies from Indiana University; post-doctoral work in educational administration at Iowa State University; Hebrew University in Jerusalem; and Harvard University's JFK School for Government.
OTHER -- Published numerous articles on higher education administration as well as in his own academic discipline of history.
