POSITION -- Currently serves as Vice President of Academic Affairs/Dean of Faculty at Mercy College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, a special-focus college preparing students for careers in health care.
PREVIOUS -- Served as Director of Distance Learning and Associate Dean of Health and Public Safety at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in Cincinnati, Ohio; Chair of Allied Health at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio, and Faculty Member at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio and Pueblo Community College, in Pueblo Colorado.
AFFILIATIONS -- Dr. Loochtan is currently a Board Member of the National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges (NN2); a Board Member of the Health Professions Network (HPN); a Commissioner of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Accreditation Programs (CAAHEP); a Board Member of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure-Northwest Ohio; and a Board Member of Senior Centers Inc., Toledo, Ohio.
EDUCATION -- Dr. Loohtan earned her Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Distance Learning from Capella University, St. Paul, MN; M.A. Education, the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, CO; B.S., Allied Health Professions, The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.
