CEO Search Update

Colleagues,
The search for our new President/CEO is proceeding well. The Screening Committee is beginning the review of candidates' paperwork. Our first task will be to assess whether we have a highly qualified and diverse pool of candidates. Assuming an acceptable pool, we will be selecting semi-finalists for interviews with the Screening Committee in mid-May. We are still on target to select our next President by the end of June.
While evaluation of candidates has begun, there is still time to nominate or refer a candidate that you believe would make an exceptional leader for AACC!
I look forward to seeing many of you in Seattle for the 2010 national convention. The program is shaping up to be a wonderful convening of the leaders of the community college movement.
