POSITION -- Since July, 2002, President of Irvine Valley College, a public two-year community college in Irvine, California, within the South Orange County Community College District, which serves students in the southern California region.
PREVIOUS -- Served as Interim President, Vice President of Instruction, Interim Dean of Advanced Technology, Interim Vice President of Student Services, Chair of the School of Physical Sciences and Technologies, and as a Professor of Geology.
SERVICE -- Serves on the following boards: Association of California Community College Administrators (ACCCA); ACCCA, Commission on Finance and Legislative Advocacy; Irvine Chamber; U.S. Army Community Advisory Executive Board; and, Brandman University Ed.D Advisory Board. Has served on multiple community college accreditation teams, including chairing multiple team visits, and serving as lead chair for a multi-college district.
EDUCATION -- Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Nevada; M.A. and B.A., Geology, from California State University, Fresno.
OTHER -- Publications: Dr. Roquemore has authored and co-authored approximately 50 reports and publications.
